Enrollment is now open for the WIPO course for practicing lawyers Collective Management of Copyright and Related Rights

Practicing lawyers in the field of intellectual property and all interested parties are invited to attend the free training course of the WIPO Academy – DL501 – «Collective Management of Copyright and Related Rights».

The course will help participants to get acquainted with the activities and models of collective rights management organizations, as well as gain an understanding of the legal mechanisms of licensing, tariff regulation and dispute resolution in this area.

The following topics are covered in the course of the classes:

• Principles of international legislation in the field of copyright and related rights protection;
• Trends in the development of international copyright;
• Fundamentals of collective management of copyright and related rights;
• Issues of copyright and related rights in electronic information systems;
• Role of WIPO in the protection and enforcement of copyright and related rights at the organizational level.

Training is free and conducted in Russian.

Registration for the course is open until June 30, 2026.
